Who wants flowers when you're dead? Nobody.
Nope, not for me.

I got some interesting information today. Don't know how to really take it. I mean, I'm glad for the intentions, and sad for the outcome.

I discovered that my suspicions are correct. They do want to get me a waiver for early Specialist. There is a desire for me to have it. And yet, I won't be getting it. Not here, in Korea, anyway.

It's not because I haven't been in long enough. It isn't because there's someone with pull who doesn't want me to get it. It isn't because there's a problem with the waiver. Nope. Nothing so easy to sway.

I leave in March. The end of March to be more exact. And the next open slot for an E-4 waiver is in April. I'll be in Ft. Campbell when the slot opens. Isn't that great?

A shrug of my shoulders. At least it's not because I'm a shitbag, you know?
