Who wants flowers when you're dead? Nobody.
Cindy Sheehan.

Different people are bred for different things in the world. Some for peace, some for war. And plenty to walk the broad line in between.

Iraq may not have been on the agenda when all this kicked off. But we have taken a tyrant off his throne of cruelty. Let that not be forgotten. It doesn't matter so much what was the cause of it, simply that it has been done. That a man who used his neighboring country as test results for chemical and biologal warfare is no longer in power is worth the effort.

Some lives are lost. And in the wake of that tremendous pain, there's a lot of violence in the hearts and minds of those surviving the deceased. Sometimes, the meaning of that life may come into question. Sometimes, the cause for their death, ultimately, will be scrutinized.

I can understand Cindy Sheehan's point of view. I'm almost tempted to agree with her, and I do on certain issues. However, Casey Sheehan knew the risks before signing his enlistment contract. And it's never easy to deal with the loss of life, but it happens.

So many people trying to make us pull out. They don't see the good that has been done. The countless schools, the quality of education, the medical assets they now have. So much we've helped and sure, people still lose lives, but in our history, any time someone wanted to improve a standard of living...there were at least a few people that fell to the cause.

Don't ask to pull out because we're there for a lie. Ask to see the results of why we're there. Ask for the truth. Then think about what us leaving would really do. Right now, it would cause chaos.

And yes, Cindy, I don't think Bush would ever allow his daughters to join the military. Few people would, and I'm sure he conditions them against it. That's just how it is..fucked up.
